The Sixth Step Into Yoga

The First Step Into Yoga is to close your eyes. The Second Step Into Yoga is to find your breath. The Third Step Into Yoga is to inhabit your body. The Fourth Step Into Yoga is to connect with Mother Earth. The fifth step into Yoga is to detach from your thoughts. The 6th step into Yoga is to bring your awareness into your Heart Center.

Yoga teaches that the Soul resides at the Heart Center, like a luminous, golden candle flame right behind your breastbone in the center of your chest. It is here that our deeper knowing resides. This is the sacred space that holds out inherent compassion, gratitude, acceptance, loving kindness and inner peace.

Connecting with the wisdom of the heart puts us in touch with our inner Guru, ignites our power to grow and transform, and brings us closer to living our own, unique and authentic truth.

Bring your awareness down into your Heart Center, right now. Notice the deep sense of peace that pervades this place. Listen for the whisper of your Soul.  In time it will speak to you.

The 6th step into Yoga is to bring your awareness into your Heart Center.
